FRAGRANT  SOAPS - But Not Too Much!

Frequent hand washers and bathers won't need to fear drying, cracking skin like with many commercial soaps.

New Day Soap is known for being non-drying yet providing a superior feeling of cleanliness because it doesn't leave a residual film. It has a slightly higher percentage of plant-based oils and butters than used in mass produced soap. Glycerin, which is a natural biproduct of the saponification process, also remains in our bars providing moisture to skin.

All of the colorants are skin-safe and not made with FD&C colorants.

Our soaps do not contain Sodium Laurel Sulfate or detergents - they lather beautifully on their own.

Our handcrafted soap is weighed and packaged after being allowed to cure for 6-8 weeks.

As the bars cure they continue to lose water weight and shrink which may result in a slightly lighter weight than when initially packaged. We use a water discount when making our soap in order to alleviate this variation as much as possible. We also do not use artificial hardeners. This results in a harder, pure longer lasting bar, with a very rich lather. (Please note: the use of water is necessary in making soap but is not detrimental because of the soap's natural pH.  However, incorporating water into lotion necessitates the addition of synthetic preservatives  - which we avoid).

Because we do not add chemicals to fabricate harder or faster curing soaps like some others do, for best results, allow to dry between each use. Store soap out of the water preferably on a soap dish. If you take lots of baths/showers and wash your hands frequently consider using a few bars of soap and alternating them to allow enough drying time between each use.
